Looking for some color.

I know it is March, and we should be thinking Green with St. Patrick's Day and Springtime, but I wanted to spice it up with a little red, a pop of color. So I am joining Sue Loves Cherries at It's a Very Cherry World for some fun color. Then I hear the weather forecast ....... the arrival of more snow. So this is what I am thinking for today ........

I really want to be wearing this straw hat, a Goodwill find for $1.99. Can't you just see me on a cruise?

Instead I will be wearing this little fashion forward number (probably right through May) with shovel in hand, clearing my driveway, again and again.

Just look at these sassy little shoes, just waiting for a rollicking night out on the town, with brightly red painted toes peeping out.

At least these still have a nice heel as I trudge through the snow. How many days till Spring?

Maybe I will get warmed up a little after seeing what everyone else is showing for red at Wednesday is Rednesday. It will sure beat looking outside at all the white.

This post is linked to It's a Very Cherry World.

Have a good day.

OOh, those boots are super cute! That might make the snow a bit more bearable! But the peep toes are cute too. I'm ready for summer footwear myself.

Hi Sherrie,
I can certainly picture myself in that sassy hat and sexy platforms. I'm strolling down the sidewalk on a sunny morning on my way to the farmer's market to pick up some fresh fruit and flowers...what's that you say? A chance of snow in the forecast? I just woke up from my daydream.

Sherrie, of course you can take that thrift store picture! I think I found it when I Googled images of "vintage women". Go right ahead and take it. I think it's perfect for your blog!
Have a great day!

Okay, take me with you the next time you go to the Goodwill. I am crazy about those shoes and boots, the straw hat is great, but I'm not really feeling the cap with the ear flaps. Great post!

Your post is so clever and humorous! I actually meant to leave a comment earlier and got distracted. I'm glad you left my a comment, so I could find my way back!
