New Year Wisdom

It is officially 2011!
A new year and a new start.
Time to take stock of where we have been,
what we have,
what we want,
where we are going,
and where do we want to end.

Not that I possess a crystal ball nor do I profess to hold great wisdom, but I do simply and humbly offer up this advice to see you through the New Year. "Let your GPS guide you." Inevitably, on any journey that I attempt to undertake, I always end up taking at least one wrong turn. My GPS, with its very patient woman's voice I might add, doesn't admonish me for the wrong turn, doesn't send me backwards to fix my mistake, doesn't tell me that I am now hopelessly lost......... she simply recalculates and sends me in a forward direction to ensure that I get back on track, even if that direction momentarily takes me out of my way, it is, at least, always and most importantly, a forward direction.

I plan on arriving safe and sound for New Year's 2012.......oh I will be making many wrong turns along the way I am sure, but by recalculating the route and always going forward, I will reach my destination. Besides, sometimes it is the unexpected side roads that are the most fun.

Thank you friends and family for joining me on my journey. Wishing you all a Happy and Healthy New Year.

Wow, what a great post Sherrie! Some of those wrong turns can actually be a learning experience, can't they? Here's to always moving forward, despite wrong turns and bumps in the road!
Happy New Year!

Oh I know there are shorts in the wiring of my inner GPS. And that little voice seems to be speaking a foreign language.
So 2011 will be a wild and crazy ride.
